PlayGuides - New Website
We are exited to announce, PlayGuides will finally change website platforms.
Currently, we use Framer.com to host PlayGuides on a free plan, But that is very limiting. So Pepijnxv, the owner, is currently working on a new and improved website for PlayGuides with code. He is still learning though, so it will take a few months.
Why change platforms?
Currently, we are using Framer on a free plan, which has many limitations. So we are switching over to code.
What is the biggest change users will notice?
The design and the new features. The design may change, but the goal is a cleaner and more usable experience
Will the website go offline?
No. The Framer website will stay online while we are moving everything. Once we move the Framer website will stay online for a while so users can compare and help to iron any bugs out on the new website.
After that the Framer website will go offline. Please note that from now on, no bug fixes or new features will be added on to the site, unless absolutly nesssacery.
Do I need to do something?
Yes.

If you just read the guides on the website, the only thing you might need to change are any link you might have used somewhere. Don't worry, on every page there will be a link to the new page to make it easy.
What will happen to the guides?
All of the current guides will transfer over, with of course credit to the guide maker.
Will profiles for guide makers be transferred over?
Unknown.
Will URLS change?
Yes. SInce the current site uses a Framer sub domain, all of the links will change. But on all of the Framer pages there will be a link to the new one.
All of the other links like Discord will currently stay the same.
What features are changing?
Everything will stay the same, and there will even be some new ones…
But I like the Framer design…
The design may change, but the goal is a cleaner and more usable experience
How long will it take?
Currently the website is still work in progress. We expect it to launch this year in 2026, but it may be delayed.
Will PlayGuides still be free?
Yes! PlayGuides will still be free. We are adding some things to support us which will get you special perks, but the main stuff will still be free.
What issues should I expect?
When we release, there probably will be some issues, since Pepijnxv is still learning. So if there are any bugs, please report it on the new website or in the Discord.
